Publication governance
Editorial Policy
SNN.SG distinguishes official-source facts, institutional context, evidence, regional transmission and editorial judgement. English is the editorial master. Controlled Simplified Chinese editions may accompany news and EIA / EIS regional interpretations. Each record retains its own publication, source and review history.
Editorial formats
Published historical news retains its recorded body and edition structure. A legacy paragraph layout is not evidence that the current daily format was followed. Current daily bilingual news uses Key Development; Official & Institutional Context; Why It Matters; Action & Implementation; Evidence & Immediate Impact; Singapore / ASEAN Market Implications; SNN.SG Editorial & Pre-Disclosure Evidence Infrastructure Perspective; What to Watch Next. Section 06 addresses regional transmission and jurisdictional differences; Section 07 distinguishes source facts from SNN.SG editorial judgement.
Daily news review
Automated daily ingestion creates hidden drafts pending the applicable human source, English editorial, translation and publication reviews. It cannot approve or publish a daily article. Drafts and unpublished versions are excluded from public discovery, profiles, machine records and exports.
Series publication
EIA and EIS regional interpretations follow the Regional Interpretation Protocol and its separate Evidence Gate. An explicitly authorised series edition may be released through the existing exact-content publication contract. Authorisation is limited to the identified bilingual content and source or managed snapshot, preserves its prior versions, and does not constitute or fabricate Human Editorial Review. Later edits, withdrawals and different editions cannot reuse that authorisation.
Dates and status
SNN.SG publication and modification dates describe its own record. Upstream publication dates, substantive-update dates, effective dates and their available precision remain separately attributed. Date-only source records do not establish an exact publication time. Legacy migration timestamps do not establish an actual human approval event. Missing dates and versions remain unavailable, not invented.
Structured interpretation boundaries
Boundary assessments are SNN.SG editorial metadata. Established, not-established-by-cited-record, unresolved and not-applicable are local assessment labels, not official decisions or EMJ.LIFE controlled states. A resolved assessment requires evidence, an attributed basis, jurisdiction, entity scope and a review date. No statement about a cited record establishes a universal absence of obligations, permissions or funding.
Rights and corrections
Publication authorisation does not expand third-party rights or machine-use permissions. Citation, summarisation, AI input, embedding, training, bulk extraction and redistribution are distinct uses. Material corrections preserve prior content and version history. Changes to a discovery projection have their own schema revision and do not manufacture a new article publication date.
Reading modes and source presentation
The 20 October 2026 reader revision follows the 2026-10-18 metadata revision. English remains the default editorial edition. A section-by-section comparison is offered only for complete eight-section English and controlled Simplified Chinese editions with recorded language direction and translation scope. It compares SNN.SG editions, not institutional original documents. Legacy formats keep their existing reading views. Only linked source records receive sequential evidence-chain numbers; evidence gaps and SNN.SG market assessments are separate. Record counts do not establish independent corroboration or achieved outcomes. This presentation revision does not republish or revise stored manuscripts.
